I am Bert Wallace. I am a Mississippi boy and have been a cop for 25 years. I have been a car guy much longer than that. My first car was a 67 Mustang coupe that I bought for $900 when I was 14. I restored the car and did all of the work myself, ecxept paint. After high school I got into old Chevy trucks. I have owned almost every year model from 64 to 72, the exception would be a 67. I currently am working on a 68 C10 LWB w/307 and original Turbo 400. It's a CST Custom. I am a big fan of traditional hot rods and old drag racers, especially the old super stock and gasser classes. I build scale models and most of my builds are in these categories. I do build some of the whacky show rods from modeling's past. I am still trying to figure out why people spend hours and thousands of dollars on a car only to decorate it with stuffed animals and cutesy shit at a car show. Long live the hot rod!
