Tranny john's dream truck getting ready for gnrs

I'm not one to post, "cool, *****in, awesome" on every nice ride I see on here but that is "COOL, *****IN,AWESOME"! That is my style and cant wait to see it in person!!

Hey HELLMET...thanks for posting this...I know John hardly ever posts and I've been waiting to see this baby done! Of course I really dig the scallops....Wished I was down there...sure woulda helped you guys sand...John's a great guy and one in a thousand FRIEND !

 

I have seen rare glipses of this epic truck on here at shows. This is a sweet custom and so excited for its debut. Great work guys and love the scallops also. Thanx for the peek, will be seeing some great shots from the GNRS without a doubt. ~sololobo~

Yeah he does not care for the name much either but most people don't get the luxury of choosing their nickname.

In case some of you might have missed it, Customs are back in a big way. Ain't it grand?

 

We have followed that truck to many a show in all kinds of primer!
Looking forward to seeing it finished at the GNRS , looking forward to seeing ****** John too,with or without the skates,he is one in a million!

 

****** John asked me to post that the official name for the truck is "THE ATOMATRON".

 

After seeing this work in progress for the last several years, It's awesome to see it nearly done. Looks beautiful. See ya at the GNRS.

John, after you showed me the pictures when it was first painted I thought, after all these years of knownig each other, What the heck are we gonna talk about now??? Congrats.

 

Lot of work in that truck-I know it'll look great when finished. Heck, It looks great Now! Sure would like to see the dash...

 

My dad,**** Dean, gave him the nickname. When people need trans work, He'd tell them to call "****** John". It was easier then saying "Transmission John". And remember, my dad's nickname was "****".

 

john is a great friend im really happy for him!

 

ATOMATRON....and I thought the license plate said "FINS"...moving from the 50's into the space age....

 

The name is great. Fits the truck perfect! Love it.

 

Come on! It's "****** John",not "John the ******",hahaha!
