I usually don't like T's because of how flat the roofs are,but these look pretty damn cool

Design your frame to run towards the outer limits of the body and you can drop your seat pan a couple of inches. I have a 28 truck thats chopped 10" and channnelled 3". It's fine for me but I'm only 5'9". I agree that it's not going to be your daily so you can put up with some of the cramped ride. Car looks really good. one of my best friends is my chiropractor. You might hunt you a new friend. Looks perfect to me! TP

Well the car is going to be so low that you can enter by putting your legs over the roof. Or my dads other idea is to have a hinged flap that will allow the door to open and have the headers go through them. I am going to have to make a build thread for him.

    Ts Rule!

Thats gonna be a wild one. I like it.

I have a hard enough time seeing out the front of my stock roof T. No channel, flat floor.

Hey I know that body! I helped with the first chop and didnt get help finish it before my associate sold it the first time. He had owned that damn body twice! Im gonna miss that car being in the neighborhood. It woulda made a bitchin racer. Make sure to swing back down when you finish it. Good luck with the project! Oh yeah get rid of the stock windshield header, I used 1" square tube on my chopped T coupe, you can see much better out of it. Go T-baggers!

Might work out a sliding track (rearward) door method.

Opening the doors could be solved, sliding doors like on a van, the thing that will get old really fast is having the exhaust basically blowing the gasses and noise right at your head.

UPDATE: I have secured an engine for the beast! I made a deal on a good running, possibly rebuilt 1961 292 y block. It's in a running truck right now, and the owner is swapping in a 460. He's selling it to me with a bagged tranny, but a new clutch, and a newer carb. It's a smoking deal for under $300, but I have to wait till the end of Jan. to get it. No biggie.

JUST TO BE CLEAR - I am not the guy with the sweet zoomies, I am the guy with the chopped rusty body only. BUT....pieces are coming together!

Well, best laid plans......I had to sell her, new house and no room and all that. Gonna fix up my cummins daily driver, and maybe later in the summer I might buy a new project. I have some inheritance money coming to me some time this summer, and I will divert some of those funds for something new.

That sucks. Was a cool looking build and as for getting in and out, with the seat set back, a removeable wheel and gymnastic skills, it can be done.
