Mine was a 1975 Bay window VW Bus and a 1984 Olds Custom Cruiser that I bought for $65. I graduated in 1999.
Mine was a 1994 Mustang GT conv. black on black w/ polished American racing Torq Thrust wheels , cowl hood and a fuel pressure gauge on the cowl just cause it looked cool. lol
1971 R/T Challenger 383 mag, Did alot of burn outs on Topeka Blvd with that unit, Car was totaled in the 80's I have been on the search of a twin green on green R/T to replace it...

1973 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ that was Black (vinyl) over maroon with honeycomb wheels and a 455 CI. It was originally my fathers car, and was handed down to me after my mom purchased a Chevy Suburban in the late 70's. Too fast of car for too inexperienced driver at the time. Mark
My highschool ride and my first car(truck) finished it when i was about 15, I am now 24. I still own it,will never sell. Its got about 50,000 miles on it and i drive it atleast 3 or 4 days a week. There is no better way to go through highschool than in a hot rod.
First ride was my uncles old 67 El Co gardening truck, traded that for the 64 Impala cruiser, a 56 210 sedan came next and then traded that for my High School ride in 11th grade about 1980, my 64 Malibu 396 4 speed car. What a time it was affordable cars and fair trades for the asking !!
68 dodge van blue imron with flames,murals & alot of miro flake "worked with a custom painter after school" ,traded the van for a hopped up pinto,sold the cagars & goodyear off the car for $$ to go to bike week in dayotna ,swapped the rest of the car for a 69 chevy van ,jacked her up with 15x10 out back ,skinnys up front, pionerr super tuner ,mind blower speakers and zoomies!!! finished my sr. year "dazed & confussed" cl*** of 77 ,my 16 yr old son wants to start on his sr. project,are chopped 50 caddy hope to get it in the garage over the x-mas holiday !!! now if i could just find some of those mind blower speakers !!
56 Chevy 4dr.I thought it was the best back then but when I think today(yes I do have good thoughts) it was a real piece of ****.But got me started
65 Plymouth Satellite with a wide block 318 and a 727. Drove it for a couple months and then got a 61 Impala bubbletop with a 283 and 3 speed in the floor (Hurst Mastershift). Grenaded the 3 speed and swapped in a M-20 4 speed. Still have the 61.
as a Freshman in HS (1959) I had a 48 Merc coupe, when I graduated in 62 I was driving a TropTurq 57 Bel Air convertible. There were probably 20 or so cars in between those two. dj
