    Are you sure it isn't just your fuel system? Punching it from a cruise would be less taxing on it than a full p***.

    Start with a tune-up first. Plugs wires fuel filter etc. Then check timing, and carb settings, and fuel pressure.

    Tune up complete as of yesterday - air filter/plugs/wires/fuel filter/rebuilt the holley 650dp.
     
  5. did everything work ok then start acting up or did you rebuild the trans and then it started?

    what kind of fuel pump are you running?

    if it was me id ditch the holley , never had any luck out of those P.O.S's

    More things to check-pick up screen dirty, pick up to close to bottom of tank, plugged or non vented tank or cap, cracked hose at tank that could be pulling air, undersized or partially clogged fuel line.
