    20 years ago I took off the oak handrail to the ba*****t stairs when I was moving in. Never felt the need to put it back up. A month or so ago I ran across it in the ba*****t and decided that it was time to put one back up BUT not that one. I called my pal Keith the owner of Keith's Muffler in Westland and asked him if he could make what I envisioned in my head. He's did the complete exhaust system on Big Olds and my Dad's '56 Olds. Does AWESOME work. This is what we came up with, all executed by Keith.

    But now I see! Love the pinstriping. That is just so cool-way to go. Your house is looking great!
    ...But being a southener, I have to ask....what is with all the steps?? Do you have a cave under your house?

    Keith had a set of lakepipes on his shop wall and we discussed using one but the other would have gone to waste. He did incorporate 3 chromed lake pipe hangers as part of the attachment to the wall though.

    Only in your dreams :D

    It's funny you should mention that as now I feel I need a new switchplate as the one that's right there by the handrail is pinstriped in blue and red and it really needs to be striped in turquoise and cream. :D
