mufflers

has anybody messed with a set of these?
called varaflow by pertronics, the might be the ticket for those long droning trips or a quick blast down a nice twisty road

 

For $330.00 each. I wouldn't even bother.

 

Looks interesting....What's with the igniter into the muffler...Flame thrower???? I have a set like that (don't know the name as I got them from a swap) without the add-on. I just pored some gas into them, lite them up to burn out some gl***, and they sound great except for the resonance to the slobs in the back seat....

 

its not an igniter, its little ****erfly the opens and closes electrically........some people will buy anything.......330 each....damn! way to rich for my blood.....

 

I bought a pair. I installed them. I took them off. I sold them to a friend.
Not the sound I was looking for.

The VT's work very well. We had an issue on a big engine high compression with a rumpety cam but otherwise, they are truly drone free!

You could also try some of these but they too are pricey.

 

PORTERS! Never heard anything bad about them...
