Be careful common projectiles include tortillas, marsh-mellows, and occasional rocks! I spent many night on the curb watching the cruising but I guess now I need to think about going back for the cruise myself.
I stopped going to this many years ago, when people started the practice of throwing food at the cars. I am not sure if they still do this anymore.
I haven't cruised Colorado Blvd since 1964, used to uncork and cruise every year till mid night when they closed it for the night. then we'd go back and walk it till the sun came up. then go home and crash. lived near that route from 1953-1975 and still never seen the parade except on TV.
The cruise I'm talking about was in the morning of New Years eve. No food or anything else was thrown. It was a great cruise with a few hundred cars. I'm just old and don't remember where it started and the time. I got there at 7AM and had breakfast as the lot filled with cars and people.
