    Hey Denise,
I just printed out the map to your place, have you lived there long? I just realized that your about a street away from my old college girlfriends house! You wouldn't happen to know anyone with the last name of Stapleton, or Knapp, or Hileman? They are all from Livonia. Looking forward to Saturday!

Well, this is probably my last chance to post, as I am at COBO and it is all about making it all work now.

A HUGE THANKS to all HAMBERS who have joined in to make this happen. Believe me, you have no idea what went into making this a success, and for that, I indeed Thank all of you on the board.

DENISE; what can I say? You are the Queen of the Board and without your persistance and help, (along with your running interferance for me when I was getting hammered by those who thought I was just some cheesy show promoter looking to make the "quick buck" I would have never been able to make this the incredible event (fiasco?) that it has become. I may just have to give you a big Hug when I see you at Cobo! (-:

So from here on, if anyone needs any help or wants to get ahold of me, call my cell (persistantly) 586-549-5291

If I don't answer, I'm probably on the other line, but I will call you back!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...one and all!

****oo, Aaron is correct. There is a Murrays about half way between my house and Beatnik's. I will ask him if he will stop there on his way to my place tonight and pick up a bunch. I will then place them in an envelope marked with your name and leave the envelope at the will call table which is located right outside the exhibitors entrance. How many would you like?? Would anyone else like a discount coupon??

Aaron, I have lived in my house for 15 years this summer. Prior to that I lived 5 houses down with my folks who live on the corner of my street, Oriole, and Jacquelyn. So ya, almost 30 years in the neighborhood.

AutoramaBob, thank you so much for the kind words but you give me way too much credit. I'm an organizational junkie when it comes to events. I do this kind of thing with my HAMB/RRT buds whenever I can. I'm AM looking forward to copping that hug from you this weekend though.:D

Is any body else moving in tonight? I waited to long and Bob was gracious enough to squeeze me in, but I couldn't get in to the love lounge! So I'll be down there tonight!

Denise's party sounds like a good time, but I can't go. The Twinstin' Tarantulas are playing in Plymouth at the Old Town Grill on Saturday night. It's not too far from Denise's place... about 7 miles straight down 96. So if any of you guys are going to be in that area and want to see some kick *** rockabilly/psychobilly, c'mon down. You gotta see Ace of Spades done on an upright b***. Copy the link below for directions. It's at Hermann's Old Town Grill 195 W. Liberty Plymouth, MI (734) 451-1213
    See ya at the Autorama!

Denise... how many people can you fit in your house??

I think this might get out of hand.

How many kegs did you get?

(I'm thinking back to the wild college parties where we went through 5 kegs in 3 hours)

((I'm also thinking of Ace of Spades played on the upright b***. I gotta see that!!))

DAMMIT! That's what I was going to wear! :D

I'll be there all day Saturday. I'll be the lovable fat guy with the camera on a stick. I'll probably be wearing a HAMB or Hunnert Car Pileup tshirt. (no lampshade until later)

Blowout is this weekend too in Hammtramik if anyones looking for some musical entertainment close to Cobo. It's 220 bands spread out through five or six bars. Hammtramik is about 5 minutes away from the show.

The parking is pretty much inacesable if you go across the front of cobo. The only way to get there is by going to A****er. I was down there last weekend and noticed that. I'm trying to get a parking p*** for the OneCenter. If I get it it will be a short walk, but free parking!

Holy ****!! I just saw that GUITAR WOLF is playing at the Magic Stick with the Hentchmen on Sat night........!!!!!!!!

Guitar Wolf is the King of RocknRoll from JAPAN...... There really is nothing cooler.

This is a big deal. I've wanted to see him for years.......... Holy ****, I think I would drive to Detroit just for that show. THIS IS AWSOME!!!!!!

Guitar Wolf is way cooler than Hot Rods....

Also, Nathanel Meyer is playing at Smalls on Sat night.... Nathanel Meyer is a 70 something SOUL man, backed up by some young punks..... HE RULES!!!

I wanted him to play at my wedding.... He has the most gravelly talking voice ever, but when his sings.... the gold shines bright.

If anyone is familar with the Detroit Cobras... They cover Nathanel's song Village of Love..... It was a small hit in 1962. He is amazing....

You Detroit people have NO idea how lucky you are to have someone like that in your town..

    Detroit, rock city............

I painted my roadster last night, Evel missed his flight.... ***... he's coming today... Tuck is on his way from Canada....

    DANGER!! DANGER!!

  28. I just finished 2 sho cards for a couple of cars that are in the show. I'm headed out tomorrow!

I'll haveta ask the guys about Smalls on saturday...that sounds like a cool show. You know what the cover is, Bob?

...you gotta loose your mind, in Detroit Rock City!

A HUGE thanks to Starliner for arranging the stantions. Mine fell though, someone "borrowed" the clubs stantions and never brought them back. Anyway, Chris will be bringing them tonight so anyone that is in the HAMB display area is covered. Thanks again Chris!! Extra cookies for you!! :D xoxoxo
