I registered a few months ago but been too busy to get on here much and post.

I'm from the St. Louis, MO area, about 35 miles south of the arch.

I just turned 30 and I'm a huge gearhead... its my main hobby and pretty much an obsession! My father was a mechanic so I grew up around cars and it pretty much consumes my life now. I'm a big GM guy, especially when it comes to Pontiacs so you won't be surprised to see my Chevy is Pontiac powered.

The '52 was my dad's daily driver from '78 to '82. He parked it because the cam was going flat and it didn't run very well due to the high compression and poor gas available. It sat for years until I was about 16 when he got it running for me and put all new brakes on it. Unfortunately time and money did not allow me to get it on the road back then and once I had some time and money I got really involved with my '91 GTA.

My cousin had been bugging me for years to get it back on the road and I always had big plans for it... frame off build, mustang II, v8, etc. Well, we decided to paint it satin black and get it on the road back in '07. I've had more fun with it like this over the past 3 years that it will probably always be like this.

I lowered it back in '08 with a drop axle from Sid and blocks out back. Then it had to have wide whites on it! I did alot of work to it this summer to make it dependable and reliabe for the drive to Frog Follies 200+ miles away. The T5 was the best addition so I could cruise down the interstate at 70mph in OD since the 3.90's out back had the little cammer running some pretty good rpms.

Well, I'll quit babbling now! Here are a few pictures.

Thanks for the compliments. The Sprint 6's are sweet little motors and fun to work on.

My dad built this motor back in '74 or so for the '50 Chevy 5 window pickup he was restoring while dating my mom It was locked up and came out of a '66 4door Tempest. Bench seat car with a 3spd saginaw and 3.90 posi 10bolt. He worked at the local Pontiac dealer in our small hometown of 700 people. He bored it out there and rebuilt it. I can't remember if its .060" over or more, but its 240+ci now. It runs pretty well, especially since I put the T5 in it. Its got a 3.76 first gear, so that and the 3.90's get the revs up and get it screaming pretty well.
