hello from new mexico

Hello all, I'm Charles from Albuquerque. I've been reading your posts for awhile, and thought I'd join up. I'm big into leadsleds,and currently building a 49 ford sedan. I've done my own chop, shaved door handles, 4 wheel disc brakes ( for safety ) and installed a 289 with c-4 trans. my finished car is a 1940 Buick sport coupe restored all original. (boring, can't drive it long distance. no rumble, no thunder.) I sling my own lead, and I LOVE wiring cars! ( strange, eh? ) anyway, glad to be aboard!

 

Welcome from San Diego. My family lived out there for a little while on an Air Force base. Where about are you at?

I'm in the north-east heights, about 4 miles from kirtland air force base. San Diego is a real hot-bed for rods and leadsleds ain't it?
