Yesterday, Karl worked on the car (I did some of it) and was able to get the rear all wired up.

Today he busted up his knee changing the oil in a tractor and landed in the hospital for the afternoon!! I talked to him a couple of hours ago, he is riding the couch in a sea of ice.

    Get well soon muchacho.

I'm not sure if Primer Nats is in the cards for me. Hopefully!

If you are down in SD, hook up with the Marauders!

More of the wiring was finished on Monday this week. The headlights, front turn signals and the horn all work now!

All the is left is the under dash stuff, the 700r4 lockout and a few other things.

It's getting close to a ride to the exhaust shop!

We are doing the same thing with the voltage regulator cover - headlight relays.. only mine is on the core-support.

Headlights, front turn signals, horns, rear wires, mount starter and ignition switch are done..

    Soon!

  26. I am getting ready to start the dash and figure out what to use off the old harness.
I am interested in how you do yours.

Nothing from the old harness will be used.

For the fuel gauge, heater and radio I have 12 volt to 6 volt reducers.
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002L1PALU/ref=oss_product

(the radio and the gauge will share one, the heater gets it's own)

I'm also installing a RediRad, I'm pretty excited to try it out. No antenna, so the only sounds that that AM radio will pump will be the sweet sounds of rockabilly, surf, rock and punk that is loaded on my MP3 player.

Oh - BTW - you can't use the ceramic voltage reducers for gauges or radios. They spike when power is first applied. Only good for fans and that kind of stuff.

I just got a new "runt" from Speedway for my Radio.

Hey drod, My car came with the new grill...

The guys at Truck and Car Shop will probably have one. http://www.truckandcarshop.com
Just make sure that they have it instock when you order it. They sometimes sell stuff that they don't have, charge you and send you an invoice labeled "BackOrdered".

Not sure of the quality that they sell on trim.
