X2 on the grill....gotta go. Looks good, roofs a little short for me but looks cool. I have a 7" front gl***, with the low top, full cage ,motor out the hood and tach with light on the left post, I can barely see out to drive. You're going to need a flagger outside to guide you around!LOL:D

roof way to low, grill needs to be moved forward in front of the axle with a hood top to fill in between. But that is only my take on it.

Chop is way too low, grille is too late. It's hard to be distinctive with the style. At the same time it is a fine line that keeps the look right.

You have gone to that much effort to make the body look that good, so lose the truck axle.

It's your car - get after it the way you want to build it!

That said, I think I'd be looking for another grill...

Grille might work if it had a full hood. Then in your spare time chop the top.

Whoa.... honestly as impractical the chop is I definitely see it being a beautiful comp coupe from the likes of Pierson and So-Cal being the influence. It's rad but that grille shell need to be thrown out. It needs a full aluminum track nose. How does the rear of the car look. The wheel well doesn't seem to be centered on the tire and it looks like the tail is pretty long. I would shorten that if it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I personally don't like chops that radical but its not my car. Did you not have the olds grill? I think a sectioned stock grill would look great. The current grill is way to far back and rr ish. Like everyone else says its your car so do what makes you happy, what do I know anyway!

Looks mean, except for that giant grille.
I would find a '34-'35 Chevy grille if it was my car.
What motor is in it,kinda looks like a flathead?

I'm with jeffrey james has a wicked pierson bros coupe thning going for it. Fix the rear wheel well so its centered, get a track nose like that guy pete's green '34 (don't know his hamb name, but its from east coast somewhere I think.) Do you have a idea for color when its done?

Great chop for a salt car. For a street car, roof is a couple of inches too low for me. You may have to go w/o a windshield frame to meet CA. windshield requiements. IIRC, it used to be 6" of vertical height.

For the grille, I'd go 33/34 Ford frame with a comp inspired insert. Or go the full Bonneville two 40 Ford hood routine with a custom trck style grille insert.

  14. Clean looking chop, but I fear it may be impractical for a street car, but then again I am 6'5" so most chops are impractical for me. Front end looks a little heavy with the truck axle and the quarter elliptical suspension.

Late model Flathead Cad?? What trans are you using or planing?

I don't know the guy or what his plans are but it looks to have some engine setback, so I'm thinkin it's not gonna be a street car.

I'm Diggin' the chop and stance, but I would have to agree with most people on the grill. Try looking for a "BOP" grill, and "Fill It" with a aluminum louvered insert. I'm waiting to see more on this.

I'd grab the grille off of the plymouth behind it and run a full hood.
