Ok already!
So I worked on the taillights after work today. Got all the panels fit and the reflectors fit. Then worked on shaping some metal to hold the lens in. Its gunna be a really Kool light lets just say I dont think its been done before and I'm not talkin about the sequencer. If you know what I'm doing SSSSSHHHHHHUUUUSSSSHHHH mums the word!

Also spent some time makin patterns for the rear window channel.

The profile on that car is sinister, it looks like it could perpetrate it's own drive by with nobody at the wheel!

 

Have u never seen this one that was build in Sweden (Gothenburg i think) in the 80's? It was also seen in the american movie California man. The car was sold (i think) to america in the late 80's.

Nope ain't seen that one before. The Connie kit is terrible but what do expect for the 80's!

I've never seen one with kool taillights to me it's just screamin for a continous taillight with a tube grill! It's so obvious that's the way I'm going. The bumper and trunk trim makes a perfect opening ah fuck what do I know? Not much

Subscribed to this thread, way back when. Always excited to see what you have up your sleeve, for this project. Body style has to be one of he most unusual 50's car ever. Thanks for sharing all your excellent fab work and doing poetic justice to this Hot Rod Lincoln. Truly inspirational for all of us Kustom freaks. Will this car ever really be "done"? Was an idea on paper or in you head before(like one of those Chip Foose drawings) or was it a "seat of the pants", design as you go?
