I was going to keep this one under wraps until it was in my garage but hey, its Christmas and everybody else is bragging about what they got:D
It was a restored car in the 1970's and someone took it apart in the 1980's to make a street rod. They never got past dis***embly and its been sitting in a garage on saw horses for almost 30 years. Best part, its only about two hours from my house and I go pick it up Wednesday. Its' probably the cleanest coupe I've ever seen. I think it will look pretty good sitting in the garage with my sedan and roadster.

Boy that sure beats a Red Rider with real wood stock and a comp*** mounted in it! Plus....It won't put your eye out!

Right now plans are for an early 60's street racer. Deuce frame, 3" chop, shiny black, deuce grille, dual quad 327 with a 4 speed or T5, I want Halibrands but it will probably end up with chrome reverse and blackwalls. That's what I'm thinking right now.

Well the coupe kind of completes the set but I am going to have to lay off for a while. The garage was already full. There's an 87 Monte SS usually parked in the open spot. I either have to sell my non-HAMB friendly mullet mobile or get a bigger shop.

Can you be a hoarder at 33? I thought that was gray beard territory:)

Thanks for all the positive feedback. Its going to **** having this in the garage and not working on it for a while. I bought my roadster (bone stock, full fendered) while I was building my sedan in the Summer of 2007. I vowed I wouldn't touch it till the sedan was up and running.

I started driving the sedan in early 2008 and didn't even start on the roadster till last year. Now that its a roller I have to keep plugging away at it so I can start on the coupe but its going to be really tempting to not start collecting coupe parts.
