Snowing up here in Cornelius, NC! Thought I was never going to see another one. From Colorado originally.

Just don't eat the yellow stuff!

I'm in Greensboro and we've sure got one this year, about 4" so far. It's the only one I can remember ever having. I've only been in Greensboro since 96. Before that, Rock Hill for 16 years. It was kind of cool to watch.

Now, it's going to be a pain in the *** for the next day or two as my two young sons get stir crazy and want to get on the road. I just got done paying a $3500 repair bill on #2's car. So, they are definitely staying parked until the roads are clear.

Me, no problem. I've got heat in the shop and I'm off all next week. I can work until my heart is content. :D

I was 13 years old in 1963,,call it white Christmas if you want,,,it was freezing rain,,ICE CHRISTMAS was more like it!

That was the Christmas I got a bike,,

My dad, strapped for cash got a old Schwinn Black Phantom and had cleaned it up and repainted it to look like new to me.

Have you ever tried riding a bike on ice,I had to be happy looking at it for a few days! HRP

Everything on the Hamb is not On Topic,,why don't you start a ON TARGET TRADITIONAL post instead of playing Hamb Police,,As far as I can see the only post you ever started is your intro!

Let me see if I get this right ,,

If YOU post about it IT's on topic?

<hr style="color: rgb(229, 229, 229); background-color: rgb(229, 229, 229);" size="1"> Bad drifting here, went to fire up my 60 and well, rude awakening! I brushed off the battery and the carb (yes no air cleaner) gave it a little gas and jumped it and it amazingly started.

Also rain IS not that off topic with you,,

    Re: rain in california

    Rain isn't that OFF TOPIC

    Make up your mind!

In this part of the country we rarely see snow, and on Christmas day?,,nothing wrong with the thread in my opinion other than a guy playing Mr. Grinch!:D HRP

First recorded snow on Christmas in Greensboro in 60 years! We got 5-6". I don't like snow, but I've got to admit that it's pretty............today. It'll get ugly tomorrow. :)

2 to 4 inches here in the middle of SC ... it is pretty but dangerous. The southern folks do not know HOW to drive in the snow. :( Cause it happens so rarely here.

Nice pic, Randy! Merry Christmas! And, stay off the highway so that the nitwits don't run into you.

Back in about 2000 or 2001, I had just gotten a new Audi A6. Hadn't had it two months and loved the car. I went to Atlanta to see my in-laws and on the morning we were to leave, there was some ice patches on the secondary roads. I figured if I could make it to I-85, I'd be ok and since I had 4WD, no problem. Wrong! Some lady driving a full size van, loaded with kids, rear ended me. Damn, that pissed me off. You may be able to drive in it ok but the other people are your real worry.

The roads are nice and clear here.....it will probably freeze tonight, then the fun will begin! We love to watch the pictures of the SUV with the New York plates spinning down the ramp on 485. There is a reason we stay home. ICE. Up there, it stays cold enough to stay powdery, here, it melts, then freezes. Unless you have studded tires, no one can drive on ice.
