Here in upstate S.C. it was 1963 since the last white Christmas I was 3 years old and do not remember it . The ground is covered good but the roads are still in pretty good shape.

I live in the upstate of S.C. myself and it was great to see the snow on Christmas! We have been out driving the roads around Campobello and Landrum tonite, checking out Christmas lights. :) The main roads were fine but some back roads were getting a good bit of coverage. The only drawback is we always drive one of our old cars on Christmas day but had to leave them parked today.

Funny, I told my wife while out driving and after drinking coffee before leaving, that I needed to pull over and leave some some bananna pop flavored snow!

As a general rule, I do not like snow ... but at this special time of Christmas ... a WHITE Christmas is nice to look at.

1 to 4 inches heres by noon on Sunday.

    :)

We're expecting 8" to a foot here in Va. We never get that much snow.. at least we didn't use to! Attached pic is several hours old now. Old trucks are getting wrapped up and they're under a pretty sheltered carport.
    Merry day after Christmas!

That is true to a point, but what you dont seem to realize is the rest of the nation has weather too, and its nothing new to us. Now i can appreciate that this doesnt happen often by you . For those of us that have been on the hamb for awhile its getting tough to find good posts...not because we have to "read" about the weather in SC and Cal but for every good post there are 20 posts about the weather ,whats something worth ect ect that pushes good posts off the front page so fast that most don't get to see them because of people responding to the weather posts, that keeps those on the front page. It is frustraiting to us that the HAMB has changed in this way ! It is nothing personal directed to you.....but some of us feel if we want to know whats going on in the weather we turn on the weather station...if we want to see some killer work being done, or looking for some info on hot rods we turn to the HAMB....I realize that by me adding to this I added to what I try and stay away from keeping post that are OT on the front page ....lol oh well

    With all respect Louver Dude
