Fab32, Bucket lists ****! Do it. Bucket lists are for virgin old maids. They die wondering. Lance got off his *** and made it happen. No one is going to do it for you so get out to Bonneville before it is too late!

FO1 is absolutely correct ... I was 16 years old reading Hot Rod Magazine back in 1961 and I dreamed that I would go to Bonneville ... Well 4 years ago I made up my mind to go ... took a year to build the first bike and get it sorted out but I did it ... been back 3 time now and will be there again in 2011 ,, Dont dream it ,,, just do it ... there is no where else in the world like ... Way to go. To get there and finally do it your self is the most awesome experience. Most of the guys who run with the SCTA and BNI are the most helpful and friendliest bunch of guys around. See you in May!

This is so great. It's on the list for me. I want to build something in a cl*** that I stand a chance to be compe***ive in. It'll probably be a bike too. Again, awesome!

wow, this thread came back to life. We got bit, last year was for fun, 2011 is for going fast (er). new bike, lighter and faster (hopefully), with my oldest son Austin (18yrs) taking over as rider. He's 60lbs lighter than my fat ***! We were gonna run a faster cl*** but we never reached our goal with the 100cc cl*** so we going after it again. Fireing order, I want to paint your new bike. PM me

  12. Cool man, great to hear the news! I sicked Gerg on ya, make sure you set the hook! He has a fast lil bike!

  13. I think I better add this for all the faint of heart, once you taste it there is no going back to the way it was so you had better dig in for the long haul.;)

You do it just to do it and then you want to go faster, it's just a big snowball from then on. Enjoy it!!:D

Fab32- this is the way to do it. Go as help at the Salt.
I went this way with a AA/GL in '09 and will probably go in '11.

And you are already 1/3 the way there to start with. 2 good days of driving and your there.
