    Hello to all.

A brief introduction of myself. I am over 50. Have always loved cars. I have not had a vehicle that I did not make my own in one way or another. My Dad taught me how to work on cars at an early age. He showed me how to make one time use tools instead of bying a tool to be used once. Even though I own a new Ford truck, I bought it new because I will keep it till I can no longer drive, I would rether have an old car that has soul. And how I will hang back for awhile until I get the lay of the land, as they say.

Thanks, all. My Studebaker is a 1955 E5 pick up. It came with a six cylinder that is long gone. The grill is from a 1953 truck. It now has the front clip, 350 motor, transmission, and rear end from a 1981 camero. I bought it about three months ago after looking for 30 years to find the right one. I have redone the breaks, aligned the front fenders and hood, tuned the motor, had the gas tank blasted, patched and coated, and that is just the start of the list in order to make it mine.
    again, thanks for the welcome.
