Anyone remember a pool store called Save Mor Pool Supply at the corner of Roscoe & Balboa back in the mid 60's? Next door there was a burger joint call Hum Dinger.

The reason I ask is because my dad owned the pool store & that is where he & I met many hot rodders. This is where I met Dean Moon (Moon Equipment) Jack Rate (The Syndicate) Richard Schroder (Bad Bossa Nova & Emergency West)

My dad was also a hot rodder at the time so the rodders came in to purchase the're pool supplies.

 

I don't remember the pool store but I spent many hours at the go-cart track just southeast of that intersection!

 

Are you talking about Pepe's go-cart??....
