Have no idea, but I bet it would be a dandy on either the Clifford 6=8 or an old Offy 4-barrel, 6-banger intake!

The pup's will laugh, but I'd also install an old "1/2", "5/8" or maybe a "3/4" cam too. Call Isky up and see what they recommend for a modern version of these because I figure they might even still sell them??

And I'd install split exhaust manifolds, either headers, re-pop Fenton cast-iron jobbers or homemade just like way back then.

Then run smitties! They will raise the hair on the back of your neck, they are that cool an "old-school" sound! Just run tailpipes out past the rear bumper is all..

I had a Holley 8007 390 carb on a Offy manifold on the 194 in my Chevy II. It ran a WHOLE lot better and had better fuel economy than the stock single barrel Rochester.

Do it and don't look back. You'll like it.

I've used 390 Holleys on a 261 Chevy 6 and a GMC 302 6.The carbs needed jetting changes and the power valve restriction channels on the primary metering block had to be drilled out about .005 more. After these changes the engines ran quite nicely. They were used on heated intakes.
I believe an inline engine will run better with muliple smaller carbs rather than one larger centrally located one.
