I know this isnt a Tri-5 Chevy forum, but i'm looking for some info on fenderwell headers that will fit my 57 2dr wagon with a sbc. I've searched just about every company imaginable. Summit Racing has a listing for a tri-5 bbc fenderwell header but no sbc. I did find this ****** part number-2102HKR. It doesnt specificaly list it as for 55-57. Just wondering if anyone has tried it before. At just over $400 bucks I hope it fits! I have side exit headers (for side pipes) on it now that hit the steering arm on the p***enger side. Rather than cut the brand new headers up I have, I want to switch to the fenderwell style.
That's the number ****** shows for tri fives. http://www.holley.com/types/Super Comp Full Length - Chevy, Buick, Olds, Pontiac.asp
I just ordered the ****** one I listed the part number for. I'm hoping somebody on here also has. I guess I'll know for sure in 3 day's when they get here. The suspense in killing me
Thanks for the link to ******'s page. Wow, what a difference in pricing from them and Summit. That answers my question! Thank you
I used them a few years ago on a 55 Chev g***er - worked great. But pricey, especially ceramic coated !
Have had ****** fenderwell headers on my 56 Chevy for years with no problems. They make a good product.
I've got the ****** Headers on my 55. I've using front motor mounts and stock steering,no clearance problems.
mine are ******s also (just checked) and they have been on the car since 1974,they are comin off soon to get coated
The Sandersons have been getting terrible reviews for poor fit in their tri 5 headers! Stay away from them!
