In the ghetto.... On a cold and grey Finksville morning etc etc. Much as I love my wide whites, I have been toying with the idea of a slightly more "60s" look to go with the metal flake paint for the coming year and a little voice inside my head has been screaming "Vogues!!!" And after a visit from Santa and a trip to the tyre fitters, I'm glad I listened to it. I know they are radials, and I know they belong on Cadillac's, but what the hey. "just don't mess wit' ma bitches!!!" Paul ps.the scallops are pinstriped in gold too
they look great...doing what you want is what it's all about. Your panel has enough "themes" going on with it to get away with doing anything. Your panel IS your Cadillac, so all's good.
Man I live in the hood and see Vouges daily. That's the first time I've seen them on something that looks right. Good call man and that's a nice ride.
I agree, they look great!! Not to mention it makes this IttyBitty KripFink easier to do the wheels. Doc.
I didn't know you could get whitewalls with a thin gold stripe on them.... That's pretty neat!! I love it!
Don't worry Tim, I still have the wide whites and New Yorker ' caps, I'm just letting my inner "gangsta" out to play for a while. Going to get me a floppy pink fur hat next. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you to dude. Paul
Good to see you on Boxing Day. If you are going for a gangsta look with the new wheels maybe we should do a new shoot with that graffiti wall in the background!
hey paul they look great, didnt know u could get them over there dont see to many of them around here. have a great new year
i think the look great on it i showed the pictures to my buddy bob barkoff and he got a set for his chopped 62 pontiac g/p but you know i have them on both my caddy,s now we must find you the right looks good enjoy teddyp
I love Vogue's! Expensive fuckers though, excellent quality. I had a set on my 72 Monte for a while, good grip, excellent tread life and quiet too. Love the gold stripe (my car is brownish-gold so they matched well too) and all the verbiage on the sidewall. "Custom Built Tyre"
Don't forget to put a feather in your pink hat.... you get no respect from your 'hoes if you got no feather! New wheel / tyre combo makes a fresh change and you have the option to change back when you done pimpin .
We can't, but there's a guy on Epay in the states, that was willing to ship worldwide. Sight unseen is a scary thing, but I think I got lucky this time round! we haven't put many miles on them yet, but they seem to ride really smooth and very very quiet! Paul
Round here, them is called "Mayonaise n Mustards" Love em! Have been wanting to do the same thing for years but have not had the right car/paint combo to do it. Looks killer man.
They look WAYYYYYYYYY better Paul. I was looking at the first picture and it really took me back. Looks perfectly fitting.
