    Hey Portland dudes,

So, as many already know, our first Sunday event will no longer be held at Voodoo Doughnuts.

We have changed venues, starting this Sunday, January 2nd. We will be meeting up at Madison's, on SE 11th and Madison. (one block off of Hawthorne) I'm sure you all know where the Jolly Roger is, ;) it is basically across the street from that.

Not sure yet if this will be a permanent thing or not, but Madison's was nice enough to offer the spot to us, and are being extremely accommodating. They have a large lot on one side that appears to be shared with other businesses, and they also have a private lot that is exclusively theirs, and have given us full access to it as well. Shouldn't be a problem getting a bunch of cars in there.

So, let's all show Madison's our appreciation and get a nice turnout going. Same time as usual, 10AM. Everyone is welcome to join us.

Here is a link to Madison's, they do good ol standard American food, and they do breakfast, etc.

Thanks, hope to see you all there!

Dude! Even I know where that place is! I'll do my damnedest to get there, but gas and funds are at an all time low. Hope it's a good turnout!

Sweet! Lookin' like I'm going to be snowed in for this one. 6 inches on the ground now and more to come between now and Sunday. If I'm gonna go, would rather drive the Nova than the OT 4x but we'll see.

WOW! Much better venue for the run IMHO. Plus, you can get a decent meal @ madisons, even a little "hair of the dog" if you need it. Shooter, will you be posting feedback from the Madisons crew, are we welcome back etc? what are you gonna call it, the Madisons run?

hey guys, thanks to all that came out. Madison's was great to us-very welcoming and friendly. the lot they gave us access to was perfect-and we can get a lot of cars in there.

for being less than 30 degrees, we had a great turn out for a little informal cruise. i counted about 35 cars over the course of the few hours that we were there. a lot of really, really cool cars-and a few that we hadn't seen before. (what about that goddamn 28/29 A with the banger and bigs/littles, splash aprons, etc. fuck yes that was a great car.) and all the usual suspects showed up as well.

super fun-super cool. can't wait to do it again next month.. i think we're going to keep it at madison's, assuming they'll have us again.

thanks again guys-great to see you all!

Hey Chris-yeah that was fun. It's always a treat when you and Clayton bring out your model T's, so awesome to see them. Can't wait to see that speedster project you guys are working on in person!

    Hey Shooter.
Thanks for the kind words on my 29, I appreciate that! My wife and buddies had a great time. Liz ate breakfast at the Madison Grille and I had a few bites, and I must say it sure beats the hell out of a cock shaped donut served by cocks! As for the 29: Its a stock Model A that was full fendered etc.. and I "Hopped Up" over the weekend for your event. Henry Ford sure knew how to built them and the boys from the late 30's and 40's sure knew how to make them look evil; Hot Rodding anybody can do it! Thank you to the Estranged for keeping our hobby alive and going in the wet months here in the Northwest.
