Hi Everyone! This is Lucy from So. Cal and I've always been into hot rods and customs since my high school years but never really got involved in the scene until a few years from now, since my dad got rid of my 1961 Falcon back about 10 years ago. *sniff sniff*
Anyhow, I'm hoping to get my project car running this upcoming year (1956 Ford Wagon). I still need to seriously get myself acquainted with a car's autonomy. I know a few basics to survive alone. Can anyone help me with a good book? Well wish me luck!

    Welcome and good luck!

Your library likely has some hot rod, body work, repair and restoration books.

Lucy - I just did a station wagon book for Cartech Publications ("America's Coolest Station Wagons"). Should be on the shelves in a couple weeks. Amazon.com is taking pre-orders now at 10% off. It's a look at what people are doing with wagons today (lots of HAMBer's cars in it). There should be enough ideas in there to get you into plenty of trouble!
Also, check out the HAMB Longroof social group. These people are totally insane, but mostly harmless.
    Good luck with your '56.
