Although you can never go wrong with Black, like many have said there are a ton of them. I would probably look for a different color (says the guy with the Black 32 coupe) but 67 Corvette Yellow is Sunfire Yellow is very bright and I don't care for bright colors on early styled roadster.
I also hate yellow cuz every time you park it, every nat and bug in town lands on it.

  4. Everybody does black because it rules. Different isn't always good. I have a nephew that's "different." It does make for an interesting Christmas though.

If you want your car to look like thousands of others out there paint it black. You want it to be yours paint it yellow. MG had a soft yellow in the 60's that would work great.

  10. I voted black, but then started thinking....what about black base with yellow so cal speed shop styled frontend with that yellow? Kinda like this one. But your yellow would be different, and you could change it up with a different pinstripe to separate the two...maybe blue, orange or red?

Yellow would be the choice from this automotive photographer, there's just not enough body lines for a deuce to stand by itself a****st many in black.

Agreed - the yeller would be more unique.

  13. I voted for black. I was in the same place you are and had some photoshop work done on my 29, gray, black, burgandy, silver. I did my interior in gray and thought I wanted something different for the body color because everyone keeps saying black is overdone and boring and ya da da, after driving the car last summer and giving it some thought, I redid the interior in red rolled & pleated material and the car is gonna be black. Every time I see a black Model A or 32 Roadster in black I like it better than any other color. It comes back to the old " what trips your trigger ". For me it's black. I don't care if it's "overdone" or "cookie cutter". It will be the only black one in my garage, I think with a blown Hemi the black looks way more aggressive. Don't pick a color based on someones opinion. My 2 cents.

black reflex every color around it, so despite being the absence of color it's actually all colors. that said it shows flaws and all ways looks dirty. go yellow.

If these are the only two colours you want to chose from, I'd vote BLACK.

It'll look stock if it's BLACK. Nix the yellow!

If you want bugs all over the car @car shows, paint it yellow. (Don't know why, but yellow attracks them)
If you want a cool:cool: traditional HOT ROD, paint it black!

Put a little silver pearl in it & add some killer pinstripes and then you'll really have something.:D

Get some skinnies up frt and then worry about the color. And I hope you have the headlamp positioning worked out...kind of funky in that first pic.

But I'd say yellow of the 2.

I'd prefer some shade of green.
