I had this one before I finished up my AV8 roadster. It wasn't fad T type but hot rod style. It had an sbc with 3 ford carbs, Corvette valve covers, 1 piece shorter windshield, 39 Ford tail lights, old timey license light and frame, deuce grille shell and chrome reversed steelys with baby moons. Had lots of fun with it as it was a good driver.
Alfsters is way cool 6cyl powered T, I thought I would throw in mine for a bit of geezering, Jimbobs T looks way too fuckin cool for school.
heres mine, But to be truthful its me thats cool not so much the car!!lol Its on page 78 of of "ol Skool rodz" #9
heres an odd question: Has anyone seen or have pics of a bucket that wasnt channeled? if you have any leads please send them my way, id like to see that Briggs
Here's a pic of mine. It's a little rough, I have it blown apart to fix a couple things(change to a 5 speed, cowl steering, triangulated 4 link rear). I did not channel mine, but instead bolted it on top of the frame for more room. If I (and I might) would build a different frame, I would contour the rails to fit the body.
I remember in the late 90's I wanted to build a bucket soooooo bad, so I went and looked at this guys at cruise nite. It was embarrasing, I got stuck and to fellas had to pull me out. Now I have a model a tudor. Investagate before you fabricate.
I wanted to build a T (that is, a bucket with the turtle deck and its underpinnings still attached) like Isky's but I eventually realized that there was no way I would comfortably drive one long distances.
NOBUX that is my dream car you pulled it right out of my head cragers & satan black paint & all Turt trunk wow is she fiberglass? & if you dont mind me asking what did she cost to build not counting motor r i got lots of them sitting around as soon as i dump my 40 coupe i am going to grab a "Superior"( in MN) body turt trunk poss one of there frames & front susps it will be a complete low buck build
I'd have to say Cotton Werksman's Ardun-powered, super low-slung T-bucket, built in the 1960's was one of the coolest, most unique rides of the day.
I've had some cool ideas for a bucket but I would look like a monkey fucking a football driving one, so I guess I should stick to the fat fenders. I think the 26-27 makes a much better looking car, and I like no bed better than a bobbed bed. That's just my opinion though and we all know what they say about that
And if you like Cotton Werksman's T-bucket, you'll love Stitch Benevides' Palatine, IL, ride (shown at Bonneville). Stitch and Cotton ran in the same circles.
Gasser Kid is that your bucket its bad ass koooool. Like'm low and that windshld is far out also.Got more pics? Way kool Later Shoe
I can't show ya mine yet, cause it's in it's infancy (infancy Hell, I'm barely past CONCEPTION!)... ...but you will dig it, I promise!
Cool? You be the judge. This is another "survivor" hotrod from the Calgary area. It was built in the mid 60's. If I had the bucks I'd probably buy it. I had an "un-cool" 396-powered T-bucket in the 90's, and I've never driver a more fun vehicle in my life! It's one of the few cars I've owned that I really miss.
Well, nothing fancy, but here's mine. Was the first time out of the garage in 20 years, built in 1961.-MIKE
