help shipping fenders

    I am getting a great deal on fenders for my pontiac, from a fellow hamber.
    can anyone tell me a good (cheap) way of shipping them from around Austin Tx to Chicago

    The cheapest is usually Greyhound if they are under 100 lbs and fit the dimensions that they require. I've shipped a 51 Mercury coupe door that way and a a Chevelle trunk lid another time. They are usually pretty quick too if the p***enger loads aren't too high and loaded with bags.
    You might try Fedex freight too.

    i would say the grey dog too..but check their size policy out..and have the guy measure them before making the deal.

    I cant remember what i was told by my local bus station but i was almost going to ship a 53 Chevy hood in one piece, but it was looking like i would have to take it apart and ship it in two pieces, and that woulld have ****ed...the deal didnt go down so i dint have to deal with it..just throwing it out there so you dont have any surprises..
