Anyone have some ideas and pictures on what to do with the center speaker grill? I am thinking about using it for a hidden stereo location or maybe a pocket of sorts. Anyone have an idea where I could get some sprung type hinges that are flat and fold like a v, sort of like on a tackle box or older tool box? That way I could use a magnetic latch and have the speaker grill open up like a clam shell?
I've got a speaker hidden under mine (sorry someone had to be first). If you can find any photos of 1sick57 Greg had the speaker grill hinged, the push ****on 'on' switch on the original radio activated little rams, the grill hinged up and the cd/radio was mounted on the underside of the grill.The photo below shows it, but not well.
