This is not an emergency but it is very urgent that I find out if it is do-able or not, so here goes:

Are there any Chicagoland HAMBers that could pick up a bare motorcycle frame for me and hang onto it until it can be shipped?

It's just the bare frame so it's not heavy or huge. I have a chance on a wicked cheap deal but the owner won't ship and needs it picked up locally. I'd be glad to help with a little gas/beer money if the location is across town or out of your way. I will also need to ship it to myself in Texas so if you are a person who could handle the other end of that for me (basically put it in a big box or screw the thing to a pallet) I would happily make it worth your while in cash for doing that for me as well.

Thanks in advance for reading and for any help,

I am told by the owner that it is in Chicago proper but I don't know the exact location.

As far as the beer, how much do ya need? I'm pretty sure I could fill your beer tank. ;) LOL

Ladies and gentlemen, the HAMB just plain ROCKS! In just a few minutes I had replies from two great guys (61linc and Thirdyfivepickup) wanting to help out with my m/c frame situation. And not only did they offer to help but each was willing to go way out of their way to do it. So from me to them (and to the rest of the HAMBers) thanks a lot!

Unfortunately, I just found out the the frame went to someone else only moments ago while I was trying to arrange transport. I wish I could have acted faster but them's the breaks, right fellas?

    Best regards,

Well ****, I leave the HAMB unattended and look what happens. That ****s. I work downtown and could have picked it up for ya.
