I have found a complete set of Ford training albums and films from the early 1950's. This is a complete set. One box is marked Ford, and contains all the albums and films with the instructions. The second box contains a combination record player and film projector. None of these have been used in god knows how long. Owner is a nice older guy who is starting to sell off his collections of cars and parts. I have no use for any of these other than they are a pretty cool memorabilia item that would look great in the shop. I"ve been searching the net and can't find anything just like what he has. Sorry no pics. Owner wants $500 for both boxes, a fair bit to pay just to look at them and I dont want to overpay if they are pretty common. Any insights on these pieces? Thanks
the record player/projector in good working condition will go for around $75.00. I have a salesmans training set for 1949 Chevrolets. all in a nice factory box. comes with some booklets as well. I paid just over $100.00 for it. 5 records and 5 films. I've seen them for less, but that is what mine bid up to at the time I got it. I see various individual filmstrips for $2.00 - $10.00 each, records by themselves generally go about the same. I'm thinking all the filmstrips had a booklet that went with them originally, though not all filmstrips came with records. what you have probably has all the mechanical training films and such (?) I've seen them on ebay as sets in a big case with drawers, I don't think they went as high as $500.00, but wuthout pics or knowing exactly what you have it is hard to put a value on it. my $100.00 salesmans training set is just what is in the blue box.. the other items are just more 49 chevy junk I have.
