Thanks all... I'm having just a lovely 40th birthday.... NOT!!! I flew to Birmingham yesterday to pack up or throw away a house full of stuff. What fits into a Uhaul will get hauled out to Vegas next week by my parents, along with my 49 Ford finally. Man, its hard to decide what to keep and what to dump... I have about 25 years worth of crap stuffed into every inch of my house... what doesn't fit in the truck will be yard-sale'd in a few weeks... a yard sale that will make some rockerbilly kids very happy think they've found the mother lode... I'm getting rid of tons of good chit. At first I was sad about getting rid of a lot of my mid century crap... but then I remembered how close I am to the Rosebowl swap... and there is way better stuff there to be had... I fly back to Vegas on Monday and my parents leave to drive on Tuesday morning... so if any of you see em along the way, wave to them then get away... Dad's driving ain't what it used to be! You'll know its them cuz you'll recognise the green 49 moredoor on a trailer packed full of the crap that wouldn't fit in the truck! If anyone wants to buy a 1958 ranch style house in Bluff Park, Alabama just let me know... I even have the original blueprints for the house... just found them today. Its small but the neighborhood is great, and it has new storm windows all around, a new roof, and central heat and air. Bluff Park is an historical area, and my house is just one block from the bluffs that I used to rapel from in my younger days... its a great clean neighborhood... okay I have to stop now or I'll want to move back. Anyway, thanks for the b-day wishes... 40 sucks, but at least I'm too busy to think about it much.
