Readable Found good semi flat black rattle can paint ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I don't like flat black too much but I have a good tip for you guys who like it. Caterpillar paint is very cool, tuff stuff too! It looks real good, you know, like the bulldozers. Pick, pick PICKY!!!! Thankz for the tip, by the wayz!
The screen door windsheild was bought there as well.... hmmm...the smiley face didn't show up where I thought it would...
I've seen the John Deere and Cat paint used, and both look pretty good. Neither have the same shitty foggy look that most rattle can satin black has. Durable as hell too, seeing as they were designed for heavy equipment. Hope I didn't spell any of that wrong.
The rattle can part # is 4C-4198 The gallon size part# is 4C-4183. It only cost about 24 bucks a gallon so its cheap too
Sherwin Williams Industrial flat black's really good stuff, great coverage and it has a spiffy spray nozzle that makes the paint lay relatively streak free......for a Rat Rod spray bomb.
I have used this and it does layout nice, against my better judgment I sprayed my brothers brand new sportster (less than 50 miles on it) with it. It turned out nice.
gosh darn it, Flat black is still IN? I'm going to have to spray bomb my 60 Olds. Screw the paint. My 39 should be ready for shiny paint within the next month or so, I'll just spray bomb that too.
My British mother taught me to read and write by phonics before I went to get my mind messed up by public school. I said British because she used to speak what she used to call "The Queen's English". So I learned to read and write by spelling most of the Queen's words by the way they sound. But I have found that that only works if people pronounce English words the way "The Queen" pronounces them. If someone pronounces "tyre" as sounding like "tar" there ain't no way in hell he's gonna be able to spell it phonetically!!! It worked for me, for the most part, but that's why phonics just doesn't work for a lot of people who have colloquial way's of enunciating words, evidence is "ebonics" Don't "axe" me why... Sometimes I feel like checking spelling on what I type and when I do, rather than use a message board spell check, that I've found are notorious for just sending your entire text off into some internet limbo. I copy and paste the entire post into an Email outgoing letter on my Email account and use the spell check on it, then copy and paste it back to the forum, deleting the old text so it isn't doubled up on it. Then I just delete the Email-to-nobody page.
I don't mind all of the spelling errors, it's the people that don't use any punctuation that really gets on my nerves. Are a few periods and commas too hard to use to make things readable? Try using a few capitol letters too. Sorry for the rant, some posts are so hard to read I give up after the first couple of lines.

I did the engine compartment in my old 51 Chevy with Krylon semi flat black. It came out OK for a quickie saturday engine detailing. Billy
