I have a 1948 Chevrolet truck with the 8-lug wheels on it. Wheels and tires are shot. Does anyone know if there are any one making wheel adaptors to convert the 8-lug to 5-lug Chevy pattern? I have a set of 5 lug wheels that I can use if I had the Adaptors to make it work for me. Sure would be handy to move in and out of shop with the 5-lug wheels on it. I would even settle adaptors from 8-lug to 6-lug Chevy wheels. Any help is appreicated alot. Thanks very much!

there is a company, go to www.airbagit.com and click the link on the left that says wheel adapters. they do all conversions. 5to5,5to6,6to5,8to5,8to10 and so on. i order almost all my air ride parts from them, also ordered a set of ford 5 to chevy 5 adapters.

I think thats the same bolt pattern as the late model GM truck, maybe you could get some cheap take offs and put a smaller tire on?
