I have been on around and under cars and cool pick-ups as long as I can remember. I have owned, repaired, wrecked and thrashed Corvettes from 1958 thru 1980. I ride a 2009 Harley, Ultra Cl***ic. I have been on some sort of motorcycle (usually HD) since grade school. Finished a basket case build of a steel '33 ford coupe w/ flathead and three speed a few years ago. I bought the '33 only to learn that a "few" of the parts and pieces were not there. I sold that car and have hated that day since. I'm now working on the true love of my life a 1955 GMC 1/2 ton pick-up I have owned since '73. I have had the old girl longer than anything in my life, except a Snap-On tools box I bought back when a $900. box was a LOT of money. I hope to use the H.A.M.B Forums to read and learn about some of the body work and metal working tricks that made hot rodding a hobby where a guy did not run to the aftermarket every time he needed a part.
NE. in a little hamlet called Surgoinsville. If you are familiar with the area I'm near Rogersville. Close to Kingsport and Bristol is just NE from us about a 1/2--3/4 of an hour.
