    Roadster owners are nothing if not tuff. Looks like you were having a good time inspite of the temps. I am jealous as it's almost 20 here and my junk is all tucked away for the winter.

  15. 0/32*, either are about 25* C too cold to even think about being anywhere near!! Half of Queensland may be in the process of being washed away but at least its still 30*C!!

    ...10 degrees here this AM, I just went for a 5 mile bicycle ride!...gonna get my 47 p.u. out today as the roads are clean and dry and the sun's out...gotta take advantage of the nice weather.!

    I drove my roadster back from car show couple of years at about 25F and froze the radiator on the road due to wind cooling more. It was so damn cold that I didn't stop.
    When I got back to my garage it quit running while I got the doors open. The engine was so hot the the plastic insulators on the points melted. Big loss was that the old cast iron "Speed Head" with casting date 3-20-33 cracked in the middle of one cylinder squish area. I put the '34 "C" on but it doesn't run as good. The old original radiator I still use started leaking and it still does.

    That's crazy!
    I have an open system with 160 thermostats,and it stayed there all day.

  25. Its 55f outside and there is very little chance, This side of an emergency, That I will be going out .

    If the house was on fire I would stay as close to the warmth of it as I could..
