Not really an attic find i knew they were up there but just got them down when putting away Xmas stuff My Dad got these from his old Boss who had a auto repair shop and his Father ran a large Auto and truck shop in Pasadena in the early 1900"s. First Ford service bulletins June 1932- Dec 1933 In original Binder Next service bulletins misc 1916-1917 and some 1922 1923 Then Body parts list for Model "A" and "AA" 1928-29-30-31 Copyright 1931 With hand written notes in the pages noting different part #s and new prices then the Oddball a Chevrolet Motor cars "Instructions for the Operation and Care 1929 Just thought i would share with everyone they sure are fun to read and look at the old ways Wish life was that simple now
No more attic any more i thought i lost them or gave them back to my Dad until i opened a box looking for room for Xmas stuff they have been there since i moved
Here are some Pics of the hand written notes in the Body parts list there is some notes on prices $10.00 for a rear door assembly Less paint and trim or $3.60 for headliner in Tan broadcloth then looking through the service bulletins some of them are actually "Ford Sales Bulletins sent out every week to Dealers as news letters about the ford products with a pic of a branch mangers meeting in Dearborn Can you spot Henry Ford ?
Cool find! I've got a similar one, though lacking the cool grill shell on the cover, but it has service bulletins from '32 to around '48 in it. They are fun to flip through.
