I agree, Hank should have won the first time around. That was tragic. Sucks they put Cole up against Hank. TV...

I voted for Cole because he's one of "us" and I think of him while I stare at sheets of metal and weep. And I'll step up here as well... I thought Hank's bike was a little neater. That spring design blows my mind.

Cole's blue bike and the Flying Pan were both flat ass ground-breaking in a sea of OCC lookalike crap.

Welcome aboard Hank. I hope you stick around too.

Definately one of the best episodes! Both bikes were awesome.

I can tell you this much, I rarely watch TV ,and hadnt seen an episode before our build.......
not even a 30 day episode so I didnt really know that most of the builders have a frame finished sitting on table, well to build a purpose built frame you have to have all the parts on the bike prehand, and what Ive seen now that Ive watched a few is guys making or hanging sheetmetal ,some exhaust for the most part.

We started with the parts I had here at shop, and we had to do alot to the frame ,so it was off the build table till the 3rd day , Discovery crew had never seen a build that frame wasnt figured out prehand , or one that was delivered from my painter at noon on the last day and with only till midnight to complete.

all the parts we made in house didnt come through on show by a long shot.

big frame modification, fuel tank, oiltank, chopped fork sliders, triple tree tin, bars, grips, foot controls,5 speed kick modified to electric start, fender/support,seat pan, headlight , brake light/plate, big primary modification, we did all body work, prep, so the seat upholstery and final paint were the only things done outside or walls.

Hope you all Dig it, we busted our A- and didnt really know what we were going to build when we started that first day, but it was the real deal,no cake decorators here.

Thanks for the votes, nice to have friends- Cole

    ran a 8.47 87 mph i think hank ran a 10.50 60.mph

It is a close call but I actually did like yours better. I think it was the closest call yet for the style of bikes I like. Not much into the long, low swoopy bikes with the huge back tire and $20,000 paint job. Billy and Russell do have you beat on the hair tho.lol

man it sucks that you can't vote for both, 2 totally different machines, each awesome in it's own features and reasons, and totally unreal that someone can put all of that craftmanship together in 10 days and take off on healthy shakedown cruise, hats off to you cole, your bike is really clean, so clean I want to call it sanitary, well I gotta shovel snow to find a driveway, thanks

WHOA!!! Hey!? I'm always the last one to know what's going on. I've been away for awhile painting a bike or two. I was locked in mortal combat with the GIANT bugs in my backyard trying to kamikaze my new candy job. I had the wife watch the show from L.A. and tape it.

Personnaly I love the style of both builders and each bike was clearly a representation of both guys. By that I mean, you can't look at 'em and say..."Aw yeah, that's kinda like so and so's with a bit of you know that guy peppered with a touch of what's his name."

    Cole Foster. Hank Young.

I like Cole's better mainly because it looks tougher with a rider on it. Personally I like bikes you sit IN more than on. I really don't think I could build a bike from scratch in 10 days, maybe if it was a Schwinn Stingray and all the chroming, upholstery, paint and 50% of the assembly was done beforehand...

  25. Funny I like it even more whith the close ups! ...the devil's in the details....

    50-50%

    At the moment.

    Cheers

    MAIKI
