    wow thanks for all the great feedback everyone! thank you!

    the day was consumed with lots of sanding, cleaning and prepping for the second 2 coats of clear. things turned out as good as they could. there will be no time to wet sand and buff the car before the show. its slicker and deeper than i could have ever hoped for, thank you Leo!

    DANG! You can comb teeth hair in that finish! Another beautiful touch. You're probably gonna get better gas millage with that slickness too. ***** wagon's coming together SOOOO sweet. Stocked!

    Only came across this thread last night and subscribed straight away! Then took two hours tonight to read every word and study every photo in great detail. I think this build will go down in history with people talking about it and useing it for refference for years to come. Amazing. Well done.

    wow thanks for all the kind words. i really got to thank Leo for doing an amazing job on the paint work it came out so smooth as is i cant imagine buffing it. thanks everyone now its time to get this thing built!

    transported the car to my house today where ill finish ***embling her. got the doors hung and now its time to make a huge check list so that everything can get done in time.

    This kind of art is why I called and asked permission to stripe the roof of a VW that you had built. I didnt wanna pollute the recipe! i knew what I was dealing with THEN! Wait till Mr Baker sees this thing !
