got a new frontend from speedway today. got new split wishbones with it. trying to figure out which way the bones are supposed to mount to the axle. there is a long end and a short end on the wishbone. which one goes to the top of the axle. thanks in advance

The short end goes on the top and will allow the axle to have caster of about 6-7 degrees.

Take an end-on view of the axle end when located in the wishbone. If you have a king pin, or consider the bore that holds it, it should lean back about 7*.
