how many have a computer just because of the h.a.m.b?

I use it for a couple of other things , but the reason I have it is this place.

 

Guilty ,,,Ebay is just a place to feed the selling of parts to get parts I need and I end up hanging here most nights ,And also in 2008 when I got the computer hooked up..................... a fellow Hamber told me about this place and I joined within the first night of having a computer ,Thats the truth ...........

 

Yep. I bummed a 10yr old Apple iBook off my sister just to get on the internet. My place is across the intersection from a Starbucks so I get free WiFi on one side of the house, too. This is pretty much the main site thats on the computer.

 

I have MSNTV 2.. Just an internet reciever with a wireless key board and a hand remote. I can view just about anything on the net while kicking back on the couch.. You should try it!

I joined in 07 and then my computer died. When I got married we got a new one. The first site i went to was the hamb. I Can read the posts for hours

 

Got my computer before being on the HAMB. Use it more as a Librairy for searching out info. Well the Hamb has become my main publication of reading.

I`m busted. My wife, 15 year old son and 9 year old daughter bugged me for a computer. Finnaly they said computer or cable TV. Computer won a year ago, signed up for the HAMB a week later. This is the only thing I use it for. Never look at E Gay, only direct links from this sight. E mail, nope-just PM me. Hell- I just learned how to copy a single pic, before it`d copy the entire page, all 20 posts.

 

I think there are a lot here who are missing out on wealth of rodding information by only using the computer for the HAMB.
The HAMB is the main feast of info but like any good smorgasbord, there is a multitude of side dishes worth checking out as well.
Branch out and have a feast you will enjoy.

 

I use mine for work a little. It's the least I could do since the university bought it for me.

I just cancelled my home interweb provider....

luckly my work provides me with a connection....other than this and a remote control truck/helicopter website, thats the only thing I really look at....trying to finger out what I'm going to do with the ol desk top now that it's no longer connected....
