TomH, HAMBer Concreteman took that photo at Hot August Nights this summer. Hit him with a PM. Post pics if you get some.

Try HAMBer SinisterSpeed too, he built the coupe.

Hey thanks, I found this side and rear shot on one of Sinister Speed's posts. IMHO, one of the best lookin' fenderless 33/34 Chevy Coupes!!! I hope to do one close to that style one day. I have the body ( see pic )

Thanks! Guess I said that backwards but you knew what I meant. I have seen a lot of Chevy chops where the pillars dont look right for whatever reason. I will be picking your brain at some point in the future! I have a 354 Poly motor and a blower that I don't want to go to waste.

    I'm loving this thread!!

Here's mine - noticed the hit and miss on the paint - it spent many years in a chicken coupe and used to be Washington Blue?!:) I'm kinda thinking g***er.

I was answering the question about the chop. It's a Downs body, dimensions were pulled from a stocker.;)

Sorry I don't have any pics but I had a 33 Chevy 5 window coupe as a project when I lived on Long Island. I started the project when I was 15 and had to suspend the project when I went in the Navy at 17. The coupe had an Olds rear with coil springs and it was channeled over the rails, no fenders, no chop. It was stolen while I was overseas and have never seen it in 50 years. Still building Rods but keep them in the garage now.

  29. Just thinking about the old chevy today. Last time I saw it, it had Rocky's Rocket painted down the sides. I still can lay my hands on the original roof.:)
sure wish I could find that car again. Just think... car and roof reunited after only 45 years. the roof is laying on top of an old cut down 32 ford that someone thought about sticking the 2 together.
