The Holiday Season is coming fast... Christmas, New Years, Mid Winter Drag Fest. Although most of us are volunteers who put the show on, there are costs involved. Hall rental, printing, postage, ect. all have increased this year. That is why the price had to be raised. Now on to the good stuff... We have confirmed that representatives from New England Dragway, Winterport Dragway, Orange Dragway Reunion, will be on hand to promote the coming racing season. The vender tables are just about sold out ( one left as of Sunday morning ). The Elks will be selling food and the BAR will be open for business. There will be displays from the Orientals Hot Rod Club, Road Rebels and more new footage and slides. Make plans...see ya there.

John, I am glad you had a good time, always nice to see you and your dad. Our regular announcer Gil Corain, had some health problems and could not make the show. Get well soon Gil. We went to plan B...Todd Berube and I took over the announcing duties.

Despite the bad weather forcast, we had a very nice turnout at the show yesterday. It was great to see a lot of HAMB members made it, and everywhere you looked there were pioneers of New Englands' early drag racing and hot rodding. We had movies and slide shows all day long, thanks to all the people who brought movies. Lot of clubs were in attendance... The Alter Boys, Boston Area Roadsters, Cam Snappers, The Strokers and many more. The Orientals had a nice club display, along with Ed Pearsons' diorama of NED. Doreen Gr***o McBride, had a nice display of memorilbia from the Road Rebels club from Medford,. There were lot of venders selling cool stuff, and representatives from New England Dragway, Winterport, and Orange answering all your racing questions.

I had a great time. My only regret is that I did not get to meet Jack Brady.

I had a great time too,I wish I could have met you also. I was the guy fumbling with the slide projector and the micro phone. I would like to find a source for those adhesive tags that say Hello, or a custom one that said HAMB and you put your name in there with a maker.
