so pissed. I was out of town this weekend. When I got back on sunday to go to the show my old lady was giving me grief for being late. So I took her out to dinner. Missed the whole deal. Just makes me that much more determined to make paso with a new paint job. that caddy is sick.... how were the night activities?
I'll add a few. It was a great way to spend an afternoon. This is supposed to be an annual gig, so it should just get bigger. My buddy Johnny put it on and he told me there were 175 cars at one point. Mike
Really good show, I thought. I showed up at around 2 or so, a few cars had already headed out, I was kinda surprised. I hung out to around 7 or so just chatting with folks before the party moved inside. Here's a few shots...
Here's a couple cool Fords that showed, the green one is my buddy Mark's from the Weirdos shop Great show, great cars, great day! the night show was nice as well, the same bands that played during the day, played inside. great to meet up with Dave, Tim and Sean from the Hamb. what a long day, got there at 10AM and stayed till about 10PM. we had 15 cars roll up together that morning with the Road Zombies and friends and parked them all together in one row, it looked sweet. man... i love running my A with the headers un-capped, sounds awesome! CAB
I must say, I had a real good time, the whole event seemed reasonably well organised, the band's were great, but then with Johnny Dilks, Deke Dickerson & Big Sandy you can't really go wrong!! Met up with Jay (Jive-Bomber) who was just leaving when I figured out who he was he pointed out Baron Von Mike! The above mentioned Tim & Sean & CAB. My wife ended up running into someone she went to school with! I'll be back next year, and the weather was PERFECT Dave

This IS last years, I was getting drunk in Santa Cruz yesterday, and as it was free....I figured that was better than $20!! Anyway, all the stuff I wanna see will be at the Asphalt Invitational next weekend!!
