I got the go ahead from the wife to go to the March Meet next spring. My brother inlaw is shipping out to go overseas and we are going to see him off and he will be on leave the week before the March Meet. So me and my 6 year old will be taking the roadster out west. I plan on taking him on a trip of a life time, I am going to go to Sids open house the weekend before and leave OK city and take 40 all the way out. If anyone want to tag along they are more than welcome too. I have a few places picked out to stop at like the Grand Canyon and........ if anyone has any other kid friendly places to see? I haven't figured out the towns I will be staying in but 8hrs of driving a day is what I am looking at. I will keep everyone posted
R.C. ....glad your coming out here....you won't regret the MARCH MEET......on Friday night after the races I'd like to invite you and your boy to my annual BBQ. I feed around 150-175 racers in the HOT ROD class. Consider our pit spot your home base while there. We'll be arriving on Wed morning for pit parling....we're always next to the swap meet at the end...I'll get you more details the closer it gets. Ron Thomas
Great to have you out here R.C. You and your son will have a great time. I would recommend Meteor Crator just off I-40 Just past Winslow AZ. Super cool my son loved it and was amazed by the size of it. Enjoy the road trip with your son.
