Hello guys and gals, Would have signed on a few days ago but record Global Warming froze my well-head pipes. Had to fix that first. I am still wondering about the "traditional" part of hot rodding. What is traditional to me stems from George Barris designs from the 1960's. 1932 Fords in every form give me goose bumps. I have seen Concours shows with original restored sedans that are works of art. 1960s Hot rod designs based on those early Fords were already old hat when I got hooked. But then again modern hot rodders(?) like Ian Roussel can still whip up coolness, if you ask me. Check out "Back From The Dead II" 1954 Chevy twodoor sedan. I am here to learn what is going on and won't be offering much advice. Like the Cole Porter song: That ole man river, he must know somethin, but he dont say nothin, he jest keeps rolling along.
Welcome from Northern Cal. Not the sunny part. We've had snow on the ground since before Thanksgiving. Which means I'm doing the work I put off all summer. Up here we work on hotrods all winter then drive them all summer.
