I'm setting up my Brookville car with an original gauge insert, dash tunnel, and throttle pedal. I know there is a rod that goes from the pedal up to the bell crank mounted on the dash tunnel, but what goes from there to the gauge insert? I'm having some trouble finding parts and understanding what holds the throttle when you pull the rod - does the throttle rod have some sort of lock? As far as the choke, did a '32 use a cable or rod?

Thanks for any info. Here's a shot of the car.....

Z.D. - is there something that locks the throttle rod in position after you set it? What keeps the throttle pedal from pulling the throttle rod back?

The throttle knob has a friction lock that holds it when you twist it. Chock is a rod thru the firewall to the carb. JS
