Hello from Nebraska . For the past 8 years I have been off and on building a 1928 Chevy . It has a 350/350turbo mustang 2 front end S10 rear end. When I found it the body was off the frame and there was no floor in it and every thing else was in pieces but it was all there and in very good shape for its age . Some of the wood needed replaced so I decided to replace it with steel tubing . I just found this site a couple weeks ago . I wish I would have found it sooner . I started reading some of the posts and I could not stop for a couple of days . There is a huge amount of talent on this site . To be honest I was a little intimidated to post any pics of my own . This is my first attempt at building a street rod . I really love the design of the of the cars pre 1950. I have posted pics in my album.
Hello and welcome from Missouri, looked at you profile pics, for your first build you are doing fine, looks good, remines me of starting my 32 chevy years ago. Enjoy the site.
Welcome from Colorado. I have a couple of old chevys in the works one of them is a 28 chevy coach that I turned into a sedan deliver. I sold it awhile back but I am still building it for the new owner. I looked at yours and it looks to be in great shape. Good work.
Hello Ghost28. Your posts were the first ones I read . You have done some amazing work . I thought I was starting with a basket case but compared to you and a couple other guys mine is nothing. I do have a question for you. What did you do to the belt line over the cowl. I have made new belt line out of steel every where else. the cowl still has the wood in it and the aluminum belt is still in tacked. If you have any pics I would love to see what you did . Thanks for the reply.
Welcome from Connecticut.......Looks like your Chevy is coming along just fine.I own a 32 and believe me I know how hard it can be to get the body lines straight on the old Chevy's.Looks like you mastered it.Keep up the good work!
