I got up this morning as usual to meet the gang for breakfast at Tommy's in Hampton, VA. It was 33 degrees out. Went to the garage and fired up the coupe and then went to move my wife's Mustang out of the way so I could get down the road. The Mustang had hard frost all over it so I decided to leave the coupe in the garage and take the Mustang. (I'm a candy-*** and like a defroster and traction-control on days like this). Meanwhile Jim Ellis is firing up his Model A sedan with the intention of unveiling his project to all of us after breakfast. Not only did he drive it but it has no windows, no windshield, no top, no weather-stripping and of course, no heater. He did however wear a leather flight cap and goggles.

    Enjoy the pics......

It is the middle seat of a Dodge mini van. It has an awful high hinge for the back to fold forward, but it is comfortable. The little Isuzu mini sport, it think that is it's name has a narrow back seat that fold forward and the back folds forward as well. It is smaller and has a narrower footprint but that padding is thin. It has that fake body roll bar with a small cloth top over the back seat.

I actually made the maiden voyage on Christmas eve. That was my ChristMas present to myself. It was warmer then, but I found a maJor oil leak I had to fix before the unveiling.
