it is time for frosty wheels car show. our friend "earl schieb is putting this show on.this weekend, fri, sat, sun. ya'll go out and support a pretty cool hamber. williamson ct ag center exit 61 franklin tn, just south of nashville. see ya'll there!!!!!
This was not my first date at this show. But it will be my last. 1 rat rod and daily driver Corvettes are not what I was thinking I had spent $18.00 bucks get in. I've got MY tickets to the GNRS! Do you? Elwood
I usually try to go to this one just because it is winter and not much else going on but I it really isn't much of a show, escpecially for the $$.
If y'all feel "ripped off" pm me your address and I'll send you your money back. Yeah, it ****ed this year. I'm not proud of it(like I once was), but you just can't make people come, whether it's cars or vendors Add to that, we're up against Metrolina, Indy, the boat show, the monster truck show, the gun show..... We're 5 grand in the hole so far---what's a few more bucks gonna hurt? My credibility's worth more than money.
Well said Earl.. I'm with you. We went and had a good time visiting with rodders we haven't seen since fall. I know it is a ton of work to put on any kind of show. Some people just can't be happy.
damn what a bunch of cry -babies!! yeah it was down a little bit this year. so was good guys, the nats and a lot of others. like you said you can't make em come. i drove a 100 miles,in a cross wind . had a great time. made some new friends, saw alot of old friends.had a great time.oh, even made a good deal in the swap meet. AND I'LL COME BACK NEXT YEAR. thanks for the time mike, your credibility's is at the top in my book!
Anyone that knows Mike knows that he will do all he can to make it happen (whatever "it" may be). No one who knows him can doubt his credibility, intentions, or dedication to giving someone their money's worth. You can stay home & be part of the problem or come out & help make it work. Bring a few friends, don't sweat what shows up (or doesn't show up), & have a good time. If Mike is running it when my RPU is done, I'll be there to support him. JH
Mike says it ****ed this year. Forget what Frosty Wheels is/was/or is "supposed to be". It could be a mid-winter "HAMB" show... if we all show up. Sounds like it's ours to take over. JH
Hey what the hell it's winter. I went for the first time today, not the best show and not the worst. Moved down from NY so I'm game for any car stuff in the winter. Met some interesting people. Attached are a few pics.
